This antique button ANCHOR necklace is made from a vintage anchor button cast in solid recycled sterling silver.
Size: 1/2" wide round pendant on 18" antiqued sterling silver chain
SHIPS ANCHOR: The Anchor is a classic nautical symbol with a deep history dating back to the voyages of Captain James Cook in the 1700s. The anchor is also often associated with having made the voyage across the Atlantic. (BE PRESENT)
Made in United States of America: Handmade in California with ethically sourced materials and recycled metals. Woman owned, Family operated since 2009.

Each piece in this collection is made from an actual antique button, or other vintage keepsake from 1870 - 1970, cast in sterling silver. A century bridging the old world and modern era. Each design celebrates LOVE, CREATIVITY and CULTURE through the stories of vintage keepsakes.

The manufacturer is committed to an ethical production process and supply chain and working towards a more equitable world. They do their own metalwork in the studio just north of San Francisco. They work with chains and components made in the US. All sterling components are made from recycled metals and their metal supplier is a member of the Responsible Jewelry Council. We choose to work with suppliers who support Black Lives Matter and a diverse jewelry industry, including Rio Grande and Otto Frei.
